After the success of last months big session, Counter Culture and Pelski are back to present their latest night.  Saturday the 18th December, Jackmode will proudly be hosting room 1 with an all star lineup of Jesse Rose (Made To Play, Front Room), Zombie Disco Squad (Sound Pellegrino, Mad Decent), Oliver $ (Made To Play, Grand Petrol) and Coutner Culture resident Dick Von Stein, while Pelski takeover room two with Jet Project (Get Physical, Extended Play), Mr Solid Gold & Park Ranger (Troublevision), Pardon My French DJs (Kiss FM), and Pelski's own Charles Darkly all taking to the decks. Man Recordings is a name synonymous with the mainstream success of Baile Funk, bringing some of the greatest producers from outside of the genre together with Funk Carioca MCs and artists, to create some truly inspirational music over the past five years. The remarkable record label run by Daniel Haaksman, has certainly captured my interests here at Electric Zoo from the very beginning as well as countless other blogs across the globe, and this month Man Recordings are celebrating their 5th birthday with their 50th release 'Valeu!', a notable compilation featuring new tracks from a host of artists who have recorded for Man over the past 5 years. Check out the video above featuring Crookers, Jesse Rose, Sinden, Herve, Diplo and more friends of the label who all express what Man Recordings mean to them, and there are some more goodies below, brand new tracks taken from the compilation by longtime Man artists Seiji and Zombie Disco Squad.

Out this month is Drop The Lime's latest EP 'Set Me Free' which is already causing a bit of a stir with all the remix backup its bringing to the party. Even before the official releases these two free bonus remixes by Havard Bass and Zombie Disco Squad have already made the release a surefire hit. 'Set Me Free' by Drop The Lime is out November 10th on Trouble & Bass available exclusively at Beatport.

New tunes here from New York/Copenhagen based Electro/Jazz-master Hess Is More and his latest track 'Ssshhhh' which has been given a deeply instrumental makeover by Zombie Disco Squad, giving us some tasty tribal drums and chants topped off with hypnotic bells.
