Man Recordings is a name synonymous with the mainstream success of Baile Funk, bringing some of the greatest producers from outside of the genre together with Funk Carioca MCs and artists, to create some truly inspirational music over the past five years. The remarkable record label run by Daniel Haaksman, has certainly captured my interests here at Electric Zoo from the very beginning as well as countless other blogs across the globe, and this month Man Recordings are celebrating their 5th birthday with their 50th release 'Valeu!', a notable compilation featuring new tracks from a host of artists who have recorded for Man over the past 5 years.
