Phonica Records, Soho's world renowned record store, have taken it upon themselves to dabble in the Record Label game the past 12 months, and what a move thats been with interesting exclusive house and tech records from
Midland,
Hector and next week a re-vamped anthem from
Bob Holroyd. Personally, its the remixes that stand out on this record with the enigmatic
Four Tet's own 12 minute take and
Deep Teknologi's
T.Williams providing 2 heavily percussive mixes of
Holroyd's 1994 track '
African Drug'.
Download T.Williams' second 'Keye Mix' below and look out for 'African Drug' by Bob Holroyd out on Phonica which is available from 27th September.
