Angels

Newcomers to the scene, but not newcomers to the blog Bodhi, have given The xx's latest single 'Angels' the unofficial remix treatment, smashing all other attempts out of the park. Also, head over to Bodhi's Soundcloud page to listen to their forthcoming release on Push & Run which should be out in September.

This little guest mix for Benji B's Radio 1 Show has already bounced around a few other blogs already now, but I just have to re-blog this exquisite mix from Jamie xx. Packing in his own masterful remix of Adele's 'Rollin In The Deep', his forthcoming debut on Numbers 'Far Nearer', another track from the elusive Gil Scott Heron Remix collaboration as well as plenty of screwed tracks, this one is not to be missed.

Re-Edit of a Remix of a Cover of a Song

This awesome re-edit of a truly masterful remix of a great cover of a classic song has been doing the rounds recently, and you may have noticed it crop up, placing high on both the Grindin' and my own monthly charts. Renaissance Man have reworked the fantastic remix of Florence + The Machine's 'You Got The Love' by The xx, re-editing the mesmerizing vocals and blissful bass-line into a much more club and DJ friendly track, and best news is Ive been given the green light for blogging so tuck in.

My favourite, and Grindin's favourite track of the month, from Florence + The Machine / The xx gets its own video. Don't think I will ever get sick of this track.
