Brenmar Fader Mix

The Phenomenal mixed stylings of Brenmar courtesy of the Fader this week, dont miss out on this one. "The mix is my vibe, the Brenmar aesthetic put into a mix. House, hip-hop, R&B, bass music, and regional club styles (Bmore, Jersey club, footwork) all on the same mix. A lot of new young US producers on this one and some of my current UK favs. I try to strike a balance between a certain level of accessibility and fun while still pushing new sounds and ideas. I love new music. Can’t forget about the girls either, it always comes back to them. Cause if they ain’t having fun…we ain’t having fun."

These Are Powers

The awesome These Are Powers have unleashed a brand new track to the masses, and its obvious that resident band percussionist Bill Salas (aka Brenmar) has been given the reigns on the production of this track. Anyone familiar with Brenmar's more electronic productions will pick out the tribal beats and RnB inspirations weaved between the bands playful melodies and lead singer Anna Barrie's sweet vocals. In related news Brenmar also delivered a new remix via twitter this week ,this time touching up Cassie's 'Me & U'.

Brenmar

Since hearing and playing the hell out of his amazing remix of DJ Deeon's 'Freak Like Me' Ive been keen as mustard to hear more from Brenmar. Hot Bizzies had my back here with his track 'Kicked Beneath Too' which captures Brenmar's production and overall musical ethics. Check these great slices of pounding percussive beats, complete with Roska-esq Brenmar name stamps, theres also plenty more to be heard on his MySpace, and listen out for his titanic remix of Aaliyah's 'Are You That Somebody' which can be heard on Dubbel Dutch's mix in the post below.
