Easily the best retrospective compilation Ive heard in a long time, this week Rush Hour are giving the world a lesson in New York Deep House, specifically the pioneers of the genre itself; The Burrell Brothers and their own Nu Groove Records. This classic archive of tracks sounds just as beautiful and fresh today as they were twenty years ago, and both the Vinyl and CD editions are something for collectors and trainspotters to go crazy over. 'The Nu Groove Years 1988-1992' by The Burrell Brothers is out this week on Rush Hour available from Juno or Boomkat.
