Mount Kimbie Remixes

Mount Kimbie's previous releases on Hot Flush Recordings are rightly being celebrated this month with two seperate all-star remix packages . First up 'Maybes' from their debut EP gets treatment from their live performance collaborator James Blake who does wonders adding his trademark glitched sense of soul to the title track. Also joining him on the first release is Falty DL and Instra:mental on the flip side with their bass heavy takes on 'Serged' and 'At Least'. The second remix EP is far more 4/4 orientated with Panorama Bar’s Tama Sumo & Prosumer providing a shuffling deep house remix of 'William' and Hot Flush bossman, Scuba's murky, cerebral techno remix of 'Vertical'. All in all a fantastic celebration of two top EPs from last year, and Hot Flush have done well in gathering a talented and diverse selection of remixers to salute Mount Kimbie ahead of their much anticipated debut album which we should see in the next few months. The 'Mount Kimbie Remixes Part 1' is out on Hot Flush on the 12th April and 'Part 2' is set to follow on the 26th April. You can download Falty DL's remix of 'Serged' by Mount Kimbie for free by joining their mailing list below, you will recieve the download link in your email once you have subscribed.

I'm really looking forward to hearing that James Blake remix in full length. It has been floating around in so many mixes by now, I crave the full version intensively
