Crack House

DJ Zinc has come a long way over the past 12 months, working out his latest angle and developing his sound from his glory days of drum & bass and breakstep back at the start of the decade. His latest 'Crack House EP' on Bingo Beats is an excellent showcase of what he's come up with, and the results are certainly catching the eye of huge talents from across the spektrum of electronic genres, getting support from the likes of Skream, Benga, Diplo, Brodinski, Fake Blood and Annie Mac. This EP covers a lot of new ground, even touching on some old ground with the retrospective homage '128 trek', plenty of tracks, plenty of different sounds, but my pick from the whole EP has got to be the awesome 'Blunt Edge' which has been on rotation a lot with me recently. Check out a few of my favourite picks below, and the full 'Crack House EP' by Zinc is out on Bingo Beats and available from Beatport and iTunes now.
